KTLA Joins WWS at 11th Annual Event

White Lights White Nights Kick Off

More than 250 people attended the White Lights White Night kickoff party at Shade Hotel in Redondo Beach on Thursday, June 28. Nick Arquette, who started the organization 12 years after his mother Sally died from breast cancer, said the event was a way to support the group’s cause leading up to its signature gala on July 28. This year, the nonprofit expects to raise $500,000 toward 150 families with children experiencing a fight against cancer. In addition to financial support, the group matches students with mentors in their community. “The journey of cancer when kids go through that experience is very difficult,” Arquette said. “Having a friend and matching them with a mentor for us is the ultimate way to give them to hope and light.” For more information visit WalkWithSally.org.
