life doesn't go according to plan? We all have a dream about what our lives should look like and a road map of how we will get there. But what happens when the dream is shattered by an unforeseen crisis such as cancer? We and our loved ones are left feeling void and defenseless. How do we reach beyond this feeling and create new hope? It is possible and this is the genesis of Walk With Sally.

Today one in four parents/guardians are diagnosed with cancer each year. Equally affected are their children who, faced with new and sudden fears, are vastly in need of support. Parents are often unable to help their children understand what to expect or how to deal with the illness. Without emotional support these children may later face insurmountable life challenges - personally and professionally. The trauma they endure may lead to low self-esteem, poor mental health and in severe cases, suicide. The question is: how can we help? The answer is Walk With Sally because Walk With Sally lives love, shares love and sends love into the future.

Walk With Sally is committed to providing healing and comfort to children debilitated by the emotional experience of living with or losing a parent or sibling to cancer. This healing is facilitated through free of charge mentoring support programs and services that provide an emotionally safe environment for children to share their difficult experience with someone who has suffered the same. We invite you to join our mission and Walk With Sally.
