"Movies in the Park" and "Hot Fun Sundays"
The Community Services Department in conjunction with local homeowner associations is providing "Movies in the Park" and "Hot Fun Sundays." Read the Book, See the Movie at various local parks.
Picnics, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome as the parks turn into movie theaters! Each park will feature a different movie, which are free and will begin at dusk (around 8:00 p.m.). Also, kids who read a related book and stop by their local Torrance Public Library can receive a prize! So bring your warm clothes, popcorn and cocoa and join us at the following parks:
